There's little value in the Game 2 price as the numbers suggest Houston finds a way to even the series and avoid a dire 2-0 deficit. But the price is too steep against Nationals ace Steven Strasburg. But it's a fair bet that offense will hard to come by as Strasburg boasts a 1.64 ERA in the 2019 postseason and Justin Verlander has a lifetime 3.26 ERA in the playoffs.This one has the makings of an air-tight grinder that comes in Under the total.

The Nationals come into Game 2 riding a seven-game win streak after doing the impossible and beating Gerrit Cole in Game 1. Now we get Stephen Strasburg in a spot I’ve never seen before; he’s never been this big of an underdog in his career. The Nationals have won his last five starts with him, allowing just five runs combined. The Astros have lost two of Justin Verlander’s last three starts, allowing four runs in each of the losses. Nationals to win.

In my pick for Game 1 I told you that, since 2010, the Over had gone 19-11-1 in World Series games where the total was 7 runs or lower. After last night's game it's now 20-11-1 in 32 games. Tonight's total is at 7 as well, and while Justin Verlander and Stephen Strasburg are great, they are susceptible to the long ball, and both of these offenses are capable of hitting them.
