Every week, Pro Football Focus does "ownership projections" for the upcoming slate. It's a good tool to see who will be popular on FanDuel and DraftKings, and you can decide if you want to go a different route with your lineup or use the same player or players as everyone else.

I usually like to have some of the high-rostered players mixed in with some fliers, and this is typically when I've had the most success with my lineups. That will be the same thing for Week 8.

For this week, I'm going to have a lot of shares in Breece Hall and Isiah Pacheco. Hall is expected to be the most popular player on DraftKings and No. 12 on FanDuel. Pacheco is No. 3 on FanDuel and No. 4 on DraftKings.

Let's start with Hall, who has a great matchup against the Giants. So far this season, the Giants have allowed eight touchdowns to running backs and three to gain over 100 total yards. Hall is getting hot with at least 90 total yards in each of his past two games against the Broncos and Eagles, including two touchdowns and eight catches on eight targets over that span. He's definitely worth the price this week.

Pacheco already had a productive game against the Broncos in Week 6 with 16 carries for 62 yards and six catches for 36 yards on six targets. He has four touchdowns in his past five games, and Denver remains No. 1 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs. Like Hall, he's also worth every penny.

While you generally want to be different with your lineups to have the best chance to win a tournament, you also want to maximize your potential to score. Having some chalk, mixed with a variety of low-rostered options, is a great way to make that happen.
