Today's top picks: Iowa to cover against Indiana among best bets, plus more college basketball, golf and NBA picks for Saturday

The crew kicks off with its story lines, and Justin is excited about a long day of college basketball that tips off at 11 a.m. The inaugural Ivy League Tournament starts Saturday, and Perri is eager to see how the players and coaches adapt to the two-round event.

In NASCAR, Micah is taking a lot more chances so far, and he will be doing the same for Sunday's 2022 Ruoff Mortgage 500 in Phoenix (3:30 p.m. ET). The new car has leveled the playing field, and Roberts is backing a lot of drivers who are longer than 15-1. 

He is high on Kevin Harvick (20-1), who is going for his 10th overall victory on the 1-mile track and has an average finish of 8.8. "He knows it well, runs it well," Micah says, "Obviously, his record shows that." Micah also likes Austin Cindric at 40-1, since he has won two of the past three Xfinity races at the track. 

Allan then jumps into the picks with the SportsLine Play of the Day, which is an NBA prop -- Steph Curry Over 4.5 three-pointers (+130) in Golden State's matchup against the Bucks (8:30 p.m. ET).    

With the PGA Tour in flux, Mike is all in in college basketball, and he has Kansas -1.5 against Texas Tech in the Big 12 final (6 p.m. ET). The line is moving toward three points, and McClure said he would play a smaller stake at 2.5. Three is too high for his liking, though his simulation has it up to 5.3. "This line is off, in my opinion," he says, with Texas Tech priced as if it is playing a home game despite the game being at a neutral site that should actually benefit KU.     

Micah also has a college basketball play, and he is on Kent State on the money line (-135) against Akron. The Zips have won seven straight, but the Golden Flashes are on a 14-game win streak (12-2 ATS). They also won both regular-season meetings. "Kent has had their number this season," Roberts says. "They're the best team in the MAC."  

John has two college baseball plays, going with Gonzaga on the money line (-145) against Long Beach State, and he says the Bulldogs have the advantage in pitching. He also likes Notre Dame vs. N.C. State Under 13.5 runs (-120), with both teams boasting strong bullpens.

Perri is all over college hoops, and he'll be glued to the TV watching how his picks pan out. He is on Vermont -15 against UMBC (11 a.m. ET), with the Catamounts playing at home and facing an inferior team. "The line is not only justified, but it's probably almost too small, Justin says, and he Vermont has the potential to win by 20.    

He also has Iowa -6 against Indiana (1 p.m. ET), with the Hawkeyes piling up points and facing a Hoosiers team that is on borrowed time. "This is a great Cinderella run, but they shouldn't have won against Illinois (on Friday)", Perri says. "If you look at some of the data, Illinois wins that game more times than not."
