Today's sports betting picks: Why the Commanders will cover against the Colts, plus more NFL best bets for Sunday, Oct. 30

Allan Bell is joined by sports betting experts Mike McClure, R.J. White and Larry Hartstein on The Early Edge podcast. They give you their best bets for the NFL for Sunday, Oct. 30.

Larry kicks things off. He's taking DJ Moore Over 58.5 Receiving Yards (-113) in Falcons vs. Panthers (1:00 p.m. ET). "There were 22 targets last week and he got 10 of them," Larry says. "We know there's no Robbie Anderson, we know there's no Christian McCaffrey. This is the alpha dog." He's also on D'Onta Foreman Over 66.5 Rushing Yards (-113) in this game. 

Mike's got a prop pick of his own. He's playing Tyreek Hill Over 87.5 Receiving Yards (-110) in Lions vs. Dolphins (1:00 p.m. ET). "Just a fantastic matchup for him," Mike says, citing that Detroit has one of the worst passing defenses in the league. Hill will also have Tua Tagovailoa throwing to him again. Mike's simulation has Hill well over 100 receiving yards. 

R.J. has a pair of plays. His first is the Commanders (+3) to cover against Indianapolis (4:25 p.m. ET). "Washington's defense should have a field day with this Indy offensive line," he says. He's not high on Sam Ehlinger's prospects in this one. "A sixth-round quarterback with no experience just shouldn't be favored in this spot. Washington is not a doormat."

His second pick is a prop: Giants rookie Wan'Dale Robinson Over 4.5 Receptions (-113) in Seattle vs. New York (4:25 p.m. ET). "Including pentalties, he saw targets on each of the first three drives last week," R.J. says. "They made it a point to feed him the ball." R.J. thinks Robinson might be able to exceed this number by halftime. 

Allan has three plays. His first is Eagles First-Half Team Total Over 13.5 Points (-115) in Philadelphia's game against Pittsburgh (1:00 p.m. ET). "In the second quarter of games this season, the Baltimore Ravens are in second place for most points scored with 68," he says. "First place? The Philadelphia Eagles, with 112. And the Ravens have played an additional game! I think the Eagles are going to put it all over Pittsburgh." 

Allan's second play is Nick Folk Over 1.5 Field Goals (-120) in Patriots at Jets (1:00 p.m. ET). "Probably not a ton of touchdowns being scored," Allan says. "I could see Bill Belichick helping Mac Jones out by using their stud kicker." 

His last pick is Titans Second-Half Team Total Over 9.5 Points (-115) in Tennessee's game with Houston (4:05 p.m. ET). "This only needs a touchdown and a field goal," Allan says. "That's it."

Larry has two more plays. Like Mike, he's high on the Dolphins offense today. He's playing Tua Tagovailoa Over 1.5 Passing TDs (-146). "He should be better in his second week back," Larry says. "This is the dream matchup. It's indoors. Perfect conditions. The Lions play man coverage with two corners that are below-average, and Tua takes apart man coverage." 

His last pick is Nick Chubb Over 81.5 Rushing Yards (-114) in Monday night's Browns vs. Bengals game (8:15 p.m. ET). "I think Ja'Marr Chase being out makes this a more competitive game," Larry says. "And Chubb has destroyed the Bengals. 319 yards in his last three games against them. And the other thing is that the Bengals lost D.J. Reader. Since he came out, they're giving up 5.1 yards per carry."
