With the 86th pick in the NFL Draft, the Buffalo Bills selected running back Zack Moss out of Utah. Find Moss' 2020 Fantasy outlook below:

    Zack Moss (RB) Utah

    Height: 5'9"
    Weight: 223
    Age: 22.4
    Dynasty Ranking: 2.06 (RB7)
    Redraft Ranking: RB52

16-game projection for the 2020 season as a member of the Buffalo Bills:

Rushing: 60 carries for 266 yards and 3 touchdowns
Receiving: 22 catches for 191 yards and 2 touchdowns

    Fantasy Outlook in Buffalo:

At 5'9" and 223 pounds, Zack Moss has the build of an every-down back, and his 57 catches for 631 yards in his two years as a starter back that notion up.

Moss runs with a ferocity that has drawn comparisons to bruisers like Marion Barber and Marshawn Lynch. He had the third-highest single-season broken tackle per attempt average of any running back PFF has charted in six years, and that skill should allow him to be productive in the NFL. A side effect of such violent running is often a shorter career, which is something to keep in mind if drafting in dynasty leagues. The best case scenario for Moss seems to be an Eddie Lacy-like career, but it is just as likely that he struggles to gain much of an opportunity for playing time while competing with an excellent talent in Devin Singletary.

Singletary had just six catches in his final season at Florida Atlantic, and he ranked 43rd among 46 qualified backs in yards per route run in 2019. Moss could carve out a role for himself on passing downs as a rookie and could play an every down role if Singletary ever misses time.

The most likely scenario is that Singletary controls upwards of 60 percent of the RB snaps in 2020, leaving Moss as an afterthought for redraft purposes.
