Milwaukee Bucks at Indiana Pacers (-7.5, 222.5) 6:00 p.m. ET

The Bucks are on life support, down 3-1 in the series and needing a victory on the Pacers' home court where, Indiana is 31-11 this season. It will be even tougher to win on the road without star Damian Lillard. Lillard tore his achilles tendon in Game 4 and will miss the rest of the season. 

If Milwaukee is going to extend the series, it needs to find a way to slow down Indiana's offense. In their three wins, the Pacers are averaging 123 points. The Bucks might be re-thinking the Khris Middleton for Kyle Kuzma trade. Kuzma is averaging a measly 6.0 points in the series and has only reached double digits once.

Los Angeles Clippers (-1.5, 208.5) at Denver Nuggets 10:00 p.m. ET 

Denver got a huge road win in Game 4 on Saturday to even the series 2-2. Nikola Jokic wouldn't let the Nuggets go down 3-1 by scoring 36 points and grabbing 21 rebounds in Denver's 101-99 win. But it was Aaron Gordon's dunk at the buzzer -- the first walk-off slam in NBA Playoff history -- that won the game for the Nuggets. 

This was expected to be one of the tightest first-round playoff series and it hasn't disappointed. Three games have been decided by a total of 7 points, with one going into overtime. However, the Clippers have been the more profitable side recently, going 7-3 ATS in the last 10 meetings.

Best NHL bets today

Edmonton Oilers at Los Angeles Kings (-135, 5.5) 10:00 p.m. ET

Heading into the playoffs, it looked like the Kings would be tough at home and susceptible on the road. Los Angeles has the NHL's best home record this season at 33-6-4, but is just 17-20-6 on the road. That has been the case in the opening round with the Kings winning both games at home, but dropping the last two in Edmonton, after blowing a 3-1 lead in the third period on Sunday.  

The good news for Los Angeles is Game 5 is on home ice. The bad news is Edmonton has eliminated the Kings in the first round the past three postseasons. It's usually a higher-scoring game when these two teams get together. The last four meetings have Over with an average of 9.3 goals being scored.

Best MLB bets today

Detroit Tigers at Houston Astros (-108, 7.5) 7:05 p.m. ET

The Detroit Tigers are off to a fast start this season with a 10-6 record overall, and they are 8-2 in their last 10 games. If the winning ways are going to continue, Detroit will need a big effort out of Reese Olson on Tuesday. Olson is 3-1 with a 3.29 ERA and hasn't allowed a run in his last 12.1 innings of work. 

The Astros have yet to hit their stride offensively. Houston didn't score a run in its first two games versus Kansas City over the weekend before closing out the series with a 7-3 win on Sunday. Ryan Gusto is expected to get the call for Houston. The right-hander has been a pleasant surprise for the Astros this season with a 2.78 ERA and 1.10 WHIP.
