The SportsLine Projection Model simulated Sunday's 2025 South Point 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway 10,000 times and revealed its NASCAR picks for the seventh race of the Cup Series Playoffs
The 2025 NASCAR Playoffs roll on to their seventh race -- and first of the Round of 8 -- with the 2025 South Point 400 on Sunday. Held at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, this is the 33rd overall race of the Cup Series. Chase Briscoe, Denny Hamlin, Christopher Bell, Ryan Blaney, Chase Elliott and Shane van Gisbergen prevailed at the first six Cup Series Playoff races, while Josh Berry claimed the spring NASCAR at Las Vegas race. However, it is three-time Vegas winner, Kyle Larson, who is the +450 favorite as he enters the South Point 400 2025 in third place of the playoff standings.
Bell is the second-favorite (+500) as he seeks his first Sin City win, while Hamlin is at +650 in the latest 2025 NASCAR at Las Vegas odds. Joey Logano has four Vegas checkered flags to his name but is a +900 NASCAR longshot to utilize in South Point 400 bets. Tyler Reddick has already been eliminated for contention of the Cup Series crown, but has Las Vegas NASCAR props of -200 to notch his third straight top-10 finish.

Our proven projection model has simulated Sunday's 2025 South Point 400 10,000 times and come up with a surprising leaderboard. Developed by daily Fantasy pro and SportsLine predictive data engineer Mike McClure, this proprietary NASCAR prediction model takes into account a slew of factors, including track history and recent results.
McClure's model began the 2025 season by calling Chase Elliott's win in the Cook Out Clash at Bowman Gray for a +300 payout. Then it went on to predict Kyle Larson in Miami (+350), Christopher Bell's NASCAR All-Star Race win (+600), Denny Hamlin's win in Michigan (+650), Shane van Gisbergen's win in Mexico City (+330), Elliott's win in Atlanta (+1500), and van Gisbergen again in Chicago (+150), Sonoma (+125), Watkins Glen (+135) and Charlotte (-105).
All told, the model has nailed a whopping 28 winners since 2021 and has hit 10 winners already in 2025! Anyone who followed its lead on those NASCAR picks could have seen HUGE returns.
Now, the model has dialed in on NASCAR at Las Vegas 2025 and released its projections.
For Sunday's 2025 South Point 400, we can tell you the model is high on Tyler Reddick, even though he's a longshot at +1200 in the latest 2025 NASCAR at Vegas odds. He's a target for anyone looking for a HUGE payday. It's also revealed a shocking NASCAR prop for this weekend: William Byron finishes top 3 for a +250 payout. He's a potentially a strong value pick for your Las Vegas NASCAR prop bets.
The model is also targeting THREE OTHER drivers with odds of 12-1 or longer to make a serious run at the checkered flag! Anyone who backs these drivers could hit it BIG. You ABSOLUTELY NEED to see who they are before locking in any NASCAR picks.
