Golf's fourth major is on tap this week with the 2023 Open Championship teeing off at Royal Liverpool Golf Club. World No. 2 Rory McIlroy is the 21-4 betting favorite in the latest 2023 British Open odds from Caesars Sportsbook. He is followed by Scottie Scheffler (15-2), Jon Rahm (12-1), Rickie Fowler (12-1), Tommy Fleetwood (15-1), Viktor Hovland (15-1), and Cameron Smith (15-1).

If picking an outright winner doesn't intrigue you, be sure to check out the 2023 British Open prop bets. Golf prop bets are growing in popularity because they allow fans to follow the action throughout the weekend.

We simulated the 2023 Open Championship 10,000 times, and there are some MAJOR surprises. Join SportsLine here to see the model's shocking 2023 Open Championship projected leaderboard.

Our proprietary model, built by DFS pro Mike McClure, has been RED-HOT since the PGA Tour resumed in June of 2020. In fact, the model is up almost $10,000 on its best bets since the restart, nailing tournament after tournament.

McClure's model predicted Jon Rahm would finish on top of the leaderboard at the 2023 Sentry Tournament of Champions and The American Express. And at the 2023 Masters, the model was all over Rahm's second career major victory heading into the weekend. Rahm was two strokes off the lead heading into the third round, but the model still projected him as the winner. It was the second straight Masters win for the model, which also nailed Scottie Scheffler winning in 2022.

In addition, the model included Nick Taylor in its best bets to win the 2023 RBC Canadian Open. That bet hit at +7000, and for the entire tournament, McClure's best bets returned nearly $1,900. McClure's best bets also included Jason Day (17-1) winning outright at the 2023 AT&T Byron Nelson, even though he hadn't won a PGA Tour event since 2018.

This same model has also nailed a whopping nine majors entering the weekend! Anyone who has followed it has seen MASSIVE returns! Join SportsLine now to see the model's shocking Open Championship picks from 10,000 simulations!

The Open Championship is the lone major that takes place outside of the United States. Royal Liverpool has hosted the Open Championship 12 times in its history. The last time The Open was played at Royal Liverpool, Rory McIlroy finished on top of the leaderboard with a score of 17-under par. The winner of the Open Championship receives the coveted Claret Jug.

We can tell you that one of McClure's favorite 2023 Open Championship prop picks is Justin Thomas finishing ahead of Robert MacIntyre at -110 odds. He's also backing Jon Rahm as one of his top One and Done picks!

McClure has also locked in a slew of other prop bets for the 2023 British Open, including an EPIC long shot over 100-1 to win it all! You ABSOLUTELY need to see who it is before locking in any picks of your own!

So what 2023 British Open prop picks should you target, which HUGE long shot can make a serious run at the title, and which head-to-head matchup plays and one-and-done picks should you make? ...
