2021 Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest odds, line: Expert who nailed last year's winners picks July 4 competition

Joey Chestnut will try to extend his dominance in the world's premier hunger game when he takes on the best competitive eaters in the world in the 2021 Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest on Sunday, July 4 at Maimonides Park on Coney Island. Chestnut, a 13-time champion, is a -3000 favorite in the men's competition at William Hill Sportsbook, while the field is +1200. The Over-Under for total hot dogs eaten is 73.5. Coverage for the women's championship kicks off at 11:30 a.m. ET, followed by the men's championship at noon ET.

SportsLine analyst Micah Roberts has broken down the odds for the competitors and the number of hot dogs that will be consumed. A former Vegas bookmaker who follows the hot dog competition closely, Roberts knows value when he sees it. Last year, he correctly picked Chestnut to win the men's competition and Miki Sudo to win the women's.

For the 2021 Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest, we can tell you he's going with Under 73.5 total hot dogs eaten. Does Roberts see Chestnut winning for a 14th time? Or does another competitor pull off a big upset? Roberts' pick may surprise you.
