I've already placed a little wager on the Bosnia Double Chance bet or spread, but I have to take a stab at an even juicier wager here. I really like this visitors in this match. The Bosnian squad is known for their physicality, and this is a team that does tremendous work from set pieces. While the visitors are are full health, Canada will be missing a very key piece to their squad. Bayern Munich star Alphonso Davies has been ruled out from this match. That's a massive blow for Canada as they will have to play without their talisman player. I think Bosnia get at least a point out of this match.
I know that we see a team like Bosnia & Herzegovina and think that they might not be the most competitive squad, but we have to remember their journey here. This is the team that knocked Italy out of the World Cup back in the qualifiers. This is the team that hasn't lost in their last eight matches and took points off Wales, Austria, Romania and Cyrprus. While he's getting older, Edin Dzeko is still one heck of a striker, and I don't think Canada should be favorites here, so I love a little Double Chance action!
Should be a pretty fun atmosphere Friday in Toronto in the first-ever men's World Cup game in Canada, and the hosts are probably the best club in a weak Group B. The Canadians are ranked 30th in the world and unbeaten in eight straight. Some are calling this perhaps the country's best-ever team, which is led by Alphonso Davies (plays for Bayern Munich). But he will miss at least the opener due to injury, and that was my thinking on the total whereas I'd play Canada on the side otherwise. Davies has earned 58 international caps for Canada, netting 15 goals and 18 assists. Bosnia & Herzegovina is ranked 64th in the world and easily a bottom 10 club in the tournament.
