Slugger Jorge Soler is back in the Miami lineup after getting Monday off and reliever AJ Puk (3.07 ERA) has been activated from IL. Jesus Luzardo has a 3.35 ERA at home and leads the staff with five quality starts overall this year. Kansas City's Zack Greinke is seeking his 1st road win since Aug. 13, 2021 at Angel Stadium. In 23 road starts since, he’s 0-12 with a 5.77 ERA. The Royals have scored just 19 runs in Greinke’s 62.1 innings this season for a 2.74 run support average, which is the lowest mark among all qualified pitchers.

Zack Greinke normally doesn’t give the Royals much length. He has pitched at least six innings in just two of his 12 starts. That’s a problem, given that they have the second-worse bullpen ERA in baseball. Their bullpen struggles are part of the reason why Greinke has just one win despite posting a respectable 4.19 ERA. Combine the Royals’ bullpen issues with the Marlins posting a 19-13 record at home and I like Miami to earn another victory.
