I really, really, really hope I'm wrong about my Canes but this feels like such a massive trap, and they probably can't afford another loss for any at-large playoff hopes. (I'm even more concerned with the likely cold-weather finale in Pittsburgh.) It's the first time the U has left the state of Florida, and it's almost November. Our model has SMU -- very well coached by former UM offensive coordinator Rhett Lashlee -- winning outright. I don't rule that out, sadly. Will happily be wrong here but in no way do I trust Mario to win this type of game by at least 12 barring some craziness.
