If not for facing Fordham in the opener and angering the ghost of Vince Lombardi, BC wouldn't have a win this season, and it's been getting progressively worse the past two weeks in heavy losses to Pitt and Clemson by a combined 89-17. The Eagles were imbalanced from the outset this fall, and now Bill O'Brien has pulled QB Dylan Lonergan two weeks in a row. Meanwhile, an admittedly depth-shy defense has been hit hard by injuries. Meanwhile, Jim Mora has UConn winging to another bowl bid, just a couple of plays from being 6-0. Plenty to like about he Huskies, including QB Joe Fagnano, on 11 TDP & 0 picks, and RB Cam Edwards, a nation's top ten rusher with 637 yards. Play UConn

Jim Mora Jr. has done a masterful job with this Huskies program. He has these guys on the brink of getting to back-to-back bowl games, which hasn't been done since 2008-2009. They play great defense and solid offense on both ends. Boston College hasn't been good defensively this season and I don't foresee them slowing down the Huskies.

Boston College is in a bit of a free-fall, having lost five straight outright and failing to cover in each of the last four games. UConn, meanwhile, enters this old Big East rivalry out of an off week with a real chance to improve to 5-2. The Huskies have built up confidence getting wins against some of the bottom 20 teams in the FBS, and that run has included the best passing performance of the season from Joey Fagano and some improved defense after leaky outings against Delaware and Ball State.
