Is Tulane favored in this spot if Northwestern's Preston Stone doesn't have a nightmare performance in the opener? I'm skeptical.

Grabbing Duke at +4.5 on the opener at FanDuel. I make the Blue Devils -1 here with QB Darian Mensah facing his old team. Tulane beat an awful Northwestern squad and South Alabama by two where they allowed 421 total yards. Don't read too much into Duke's loss to Illinois. I think the Illini are good enough to make the CFP and that game was close at halftime. Duke just played sloppy in the second half. The lookahead line was Tulane -1.5 and now it's 4.5. That's too much of an overreaction. I'm not sure where this number will go but I'm happy to grab over a field goal with the Blue Devils.
