The public is all over Vanderbilt. They’re off their biggest upset in school history, defeating number one Alabama, and are in prime position for a letdown. However, they’re 4-1 ATS on the season. The Commodores are only 4-3 ATS against Kentucky since 2016. However, they’re also 3-1 ATS against them when the line is greater than 12 during that same span along with being 5-1 ATS on the road, against the Wildcats, since 2012.

I know there are fears of a possible Vanderbilt hangover following last week's win over Alabama, but in what world does this Kentucky team deserve to be favored by nearly two touchdowns? There might only be 12 total possessions in the entire game!

Fascinating to see Vandy enter this game as near two touchdown underdogs coming off of their historic upset victory over Alabama. We saw them not particularly handle success well after upsetting Virginia Tech in their opener. Knowing what's potentially at stake here for them, expect their best game on the road against the Wildcats.

This feels a bit like low-hanging fruit, but sometimes an easy snack can still satisfy an appetite. Coming off the biggest win in program history with its upset of Alabama, Vandy now turns around to face a Kentucky team that has had two weeks to prepare for this showdown. Perhaps Vanderbilt finds a way to regroup and give another focused effort, but we'll back a Kentucky club that has won seven of the past eight in this series, including a 45-28 road victory last season.
