Coach Lance Leipold has done a marvelous job with the Jayhawks this season, and to me, he's got this program eyeing an NY6 Bowl game this year. Don't look for a slip up today from Kansas. Whether it's Jalon Daniels or Jason Bean at QB, they have more than enough to get the job done at home.
The Jayhawks (7-2) have been better than the Red Raiders (4-5) across the board this season, so this line seems a little curious to me. Texas Tech is 1-3 on the road this season, with the only win coming at awful Baylor. The only way I see Kansas not covering is if the Jayhawks look ahead to next week's game against Kansas State. But coach Lance Leipold kept the team focused last week at Iowa State, so I don't think he will have a problem keeping Kansas focused at home on Saturday. Rock Chalk.
KU is still in the Big 12 race and off hugely impressive B2B wins over Oklahoma and Iowa State. Too bad Coach Lance Leipold already told Michigan State he wasn't interested in its opening as he would be a grand slam hire. The Jayhawks are just one of 11 Power 5 teams with a record of 5-0 or better at home this season. TTU is 1-3 away and down at least two starters this week in offensive lineman Cole Spencer and tight end Mason Tharp.
