The Wildcats continued their breakout season with a dominant victory over Florida last week. However, their other four wins came against meager competition. Conversely, Georgia struggled to get by Auburn and it appears this club is a step behind its recent national powerhouses. Although the Wildcats have been a thorn to Georgia lately, last week’s scare should inspire an urgent effort from the Bulldogs this week to start an otherwise manageable stretch before they visit Tennessee late in the season. Look for them to pull away Saturday.

The combined totals in the last four meetings between these two teams: 21, 17, 43, 22. Defense rules and I expect it to do so yet again on Saturday. The Bulldogs are allowing 13.2 points per game and the Wildcats only 15.2 PPG. Play the over at your own risk. Georgia 24, Kentucky 13.
