NC State wasn't hit quite as hard -- not counting former starting QB Devin Leary as he was hurt in October and never returned before transferring, and the Wolfpack's defense is vastly superior. Maryland is 7-0 when running for 130 yards or more and 0-5 when it doesn’t. NC State comes into this 11th in the nation against the run allowing just 103 yards per game.
