If LSU was not already motivated to throw up some style points on a terrible Texas A&M team, doors opening across the country with Clemson falling to South Carolina and Ohio State getting destroyed by Michigan put even more importance on the Bayou Bengals showing out. The Aggies have given up on their season. Their only win since September is over UMass in a disappointing 20-3 effort. Against teams with explosive offenses, they cannot keep up. LSU not only has that but a capable defense that feats against weak opponents. With this line dipping below the key number, we're making a play on LSU to keep itself right on the outside of the College Football Playoff hoping for just a bit more chaos.

Texas A&M has been maybe the nation's most disappointing team but this is the Aggies' bowl game, they are getting some key injured players back and might be playing for their coach's job -- must be rough to know you can get fired and still get $85 million. You can't tell me LSU isn't looking ahead to the SEC title game against No. 1 Georgia. I think at worst we push here so I probably will buy this to +10.5.

The Tigers also could use some style points just in case they beat Georgia next weekend and have a case to make the CFP.
