ALAMO BOWL: Oklahoma had one of the more interesting seasons among Power Five schools. Quarterback Spencer Rattler was benched and has transferred to South Carolina. Coach Lincoln Riley also unexpectedly moved on, taking the USC job. But the Sooners won't lack motivation Wednesday night against the Ducks. This will be a showcase performance for Oklahoma, and it will hand Oregon its third loss in its final four games.

ALAMO BOWL -- An unofficial bowl record for opt-outs, dropouts and injury-illness absences is being set. Oregon is getting the worse of it, with an estimated 17 defensive players missing. With top pass-catcher Devon Williams turning pro, all major WRs are out as well. Both head coaches fled, too, and the interim edge goes to Oklahoma with Bob Stoops. Oregon has covered in just five of its past 17 games, whereas the Sooners are on a 17-1 straight-up tear as favorites.

Both of these teams are transitioning to new coaches, which means you might see some sloppiness and some auditions throughout the game. What’s more, the under has hit in the majority of the games for both teams, and a 60-point total seems a bit aggressive for a game that should be sloppier than advertised.
