Maybe I am a complete moron for backing a Texas team that appears to have quit, but I believe the Horns show some pride in the season finale at home. Kansas State already wrapped up a bowl game so not sure how much major motivation there, plus starting QB Skylar Thompson (perhaps buried the lead) is not starting due to injury. The Cats are vastly different without the dual-threat who has been playing since like 2007 it seems. Seriously, I think the 38-year-old Thompson once backed up Josh Freeman.

I'm not sure how Texas can be favored over anyone right now. The Longhorns have not won since beating TCU on October second. Their play has progressively gotten worse since blowing an 18-point lead against Oklahoma. Kansas State had a four-game winning streak stopped by Baylor last week but the Wildcats have been clearly the better team.
