Bowling Green failed to score a TD in last week’s opener at Tennessee. At home, dating back 18 games, the Falcons have only won three straight-up. South Alabama somehow landed a QB, Jake Bentley, who started at Power Five schools Utah and South Carolina. The itinerant veteran debuted at his new stop with a bang as the Jaguars buried Southern Miss 31-7. Bentley weathered some heated pass rush in the win, which he likely will not experience from Bowling Green.

If you don't remember Jake Bentley, you should probably look him up. The former South Carolina and Utah signal-caller landed at South Alabama and immediately made an impact. He threw for 269 yards and two touchdowns last week in a 31-7 win over Southern Miss. Meanwhile, Bowling Green is one of the worst programs in the FBS and looked awful last week in a loss at Tennessee. Bentley, a stout defense and the Jaguars running game will roll on Saturday afternoon.
