Iowa State's offense ranks 13th in yards per play and Notre Dame's offense ranks 13th in points scored at 37.1 points per game. Irish QB Ian Book is a dual-threat QB who has lead his team to 38 or more points in their last four games. Meanwhile Iowa State average 34.1 points per game, and QB Brock Purdy averages 313.3 passing yards per game. Take the Over.

CAMPING WORLD BOWL -- Coach Brian Kelly’s bowl record (3-8 ATS) at Notre Dame and a sense that Iowa State is more motivated have depressed this line. Yet the Fighting Irish rank 13th in scoring offense and 14th in scoring defense, a combination that points to clear superiority over the Cyclones. The Domers enter with momentum, having covered in four straight, while Iowa State flatlined late in its season. Most of Kelly’s ATS defeats came against ranked opponents; Iowa State cannot be found in the Top 25. Take Notre Dame.

CAMPING WORLD BOWL -- Notre Dame is riding a five-game winning streak and getting great play from its defense. QB Ian Book is playing well and the Fighting Irish look like a solid all around. I like how the Cyclones play defensively, and they'll be able to keep this one close, which is why the spread is low. However, I don't trust their offense to move the ball with consistency against Notre Dame, which explains why I'm going with the Irish.

CAMPING WORLD BOWL -- It's been hard to figure out which Cyclones team will show up on a week-to-week basis, but the Fighting Irish defense has been consistently sound all season. It hasn't given up more than 400 yards since Oct. 26, and its quarterback, Ian Book, didn't throw an interception over the final three games of the season. Trust Book to help the Irish pull away late.
