Wow, the Cornhuskers are getting two-dozen points at home. That’s crazy, even though the Buckeyes blitzed them twice recently in Columbus. OSU could be peeking ahead to the Penn State mega-matchup next week. Against Nebraska, the Buckeyes must replace RG Branden Bowen, who broke his leg last week, and CB Damon Arnette sits for one half as a sentence for a targeting penalty. The ‘Huskers offense showed signs of life against rugged Wisconsin. And though no current players were around then, Nebraska did take down the Buckeyes on their last visit six years ago.

An early pick-six and the defensive unit’s inability to stop Wisconsin’s power run game felled the Cornhuskers last week in a 38-17. But from a personnel standpoint, they appear better-equipped to compete with the Buckeyes, while also receiving double the points they were spotted against the Badgers. Tanner Lee is a solid quarterback who threw for 262 yards against Wisconsin despite being betrayed by several drops. Devine Ozigbo ran for 112 yards. Nebraska should have enough success on offense to put up some points and stay inside this massive number against Ohio State.
