We are not going to lay the points in this one, but my projections see the Wolverines winning straight-up Saturday in 75 percent of simulations. This is a strong enough result to warrant playing the money line.

The Gators have a ton of experienced talent back on both sides of the ball, especially on offense. The suspension of Florida WR Antonio Callaway was worth just 1 point. to the line. The Gators return their top six receivers in terms of receiving yardage, while Michigan returns just five starters on offense, three on defense. Take the points.

Look for a high-scoring game at the neutral site in Arlington, Tex., simply because a lot of newbies are doing the defending, particularly in the secondaries. Three Florida starters from that unit were drafted in the second round. Michigan will start four newcomers in the secondary, and only one starter returns for the entire defense. Signals will be missed due to inexperience, and the offenses will make big plays. Florida returns its top three rushers and top seven receivers.
