Understanding Public and Money
Think of 'Public' as the percentage of people betting on each side and 'Money' as how much money is being bet. When there's a big difference between the 'Public' and 'Money' data, it usually means that the more serious bettors (referred to as 'Sharp Money') are favoring a particular side.

Texas Tech just lost their leading scorer, J.T. Toppin, for the season and I expect them to lean on their defense going forward. In fact, in their last five games, the Red Raiders have surrendered an average of 60.8 points in regulation and they haven't broken 80 points themselves. Kansas State might have shown something against Baylor in their first game without fired coach Jerome Tang, but I would be mildly surprised if they scored 70 on Saturday. Give me Texas Tech 79-63.
