Understanding Public and Money

Think of 'Public' as the percentage of people betting on each side and 'Money' as how much money is being bet. When there's a big difference between the 'Public' and 'Money' data, it usually means that the more serious bettors (referred to as 'Sharp Money') are favoring a particular side.

Bob's Analysis:

Eventually, Miami Ohio’s luck is gonna run out and hopefully this does not jinx that. However, the Redhawks did have a scare in their last game, but they’ve been finding ways to win all season. Their the better team on both ends of the ball, especially defensive. The Redhawks are also 12-4 ATS on the season and 3-0 SU on the road.

Bruce's Analysis:

Travis Steele's high-flying Miami-O got quite a scare from visiting Buffalo last Saturday, forced into OT by the Bulls and not surviving until Peter Suder's deep triple at the end of added time produced a 105-102 win. Still unbeaten, there isn't a lot to complain about with the nation's best-shooting team (54% from the floor and 41.9% beyond the arc, both tops in the country) except to worry about the treacherous MAC trail. Yet Rob Senderoff's Golden Flashes look the most-likely banana peel for the RedHawks, with their own potent 90.2 ppg offense and five DD scorers led by 6-8 battering ram PF Delrecco Gillespie, a double-double machine at 19.8 ppg & 12.6 rpg, the latter the nation's best.
