Ten months and counting could end tonight for Navy, waiting since last March to make amends after American rolled 74-52 in the Patriot title game, denying the Mids a rare Big Dance slot. Shooting went cold that night for the Annapolis bunch which only hit 35% from the floor, and even worse beyond the arc, from where it only hit 4 of 20. So far, however, Navy looks poised for payback, with fourth-year seniors G Austin Benigni (17.8 ppg) & 6-11 C Aidan Kehoe (14.3 ppg) pacing the Patriot's most-impressive entry. The Eagles might be the best of the rest of the loop but lost lots of firepower from last March's Dance qualifier, reflected in an erratic performance pattern. Play Navy ML.
