He's the team's best 3-point shooter (and free-throw shooter) by far at 48.6% -- among Big Ten leaders. The Badgers are 8-1 at home while averaging 88.3 PPG, and the backcourt battery of Nick Boyd and John Blackwell are Top 10 in the Big Ten in scoring with Boyd at 19.5 PPG and Blackwell at 17.5. They are one-of-seven duos in the county to average at least 17.5 points. Forward Nolan Winter ranks third in the Big Ten with seven double-doubles.

Mick Cronin's Bruins shouldn't have as much trouble scoring points tonight as they did Saturday at Iowa when the Hawkeyes jumped to a 40-22 halftime edge and UCLA hit only 3 of 14 triples. The Bruins, who normally register nearly 50% from the floor and 40% with three-balls, should function a bit smoother than Saturday at Iowa City. Wisconsin also isn't Iowa, and no longer in the slow, old Bo Ryan style, much more up-tempo these days especially with San Diego State transfer G Nick Boyd scoring nearly 20 pg. Greg Gard's Badgers proceed at nearly 83 ppg, and G John Blackwell (17.5 ppg) seems due for a breakout after scoring single digits in three of Wiscy's past four games. Play UCLA-Wiscy Over.
