Florida Gulf Coast gets a home game here in their opening game in the Atlantic Sun tournament. The home team won each game when these two met in the regular season and not sure how much home court will be a factor here. The Royals defense isn’t the best, but either is Florida Gulf Coast. Each team has similar stats in their home/road splits and the Royals have stepped up on the road with a -2.4 point differential.

These teams split in the regular season, each winning at home. That gives the edge to Florida Gulf Coast, which will host this A-Sun Tournament matchup. But I like the Royals to keep this close, if not win outright. Queens has beaten FGCU in the A-Sun quarterfinals each of the past two years (at neutral sites) and knocked off the conference's top two teams, Lipscomb and North Alabama, during the regular season. Queens went 6-3 in A-Sun road games. The Royals get 31.6 points from their bench, while the Eagles are more top-heavy and remain without key reserve guard Rahmir Barno (8.0 ppg, 3.9 apg).
