Here I thought the Alabama-Missouri total was high. These schools do rank 1-2 in the Summit League in scoring but even if both hit their season totals of 85.6 and 84.8, we still win pretty comfortably. St. Thomas is actually fourth in the league in scoring defense. I'm well aware these teams combined for 223 points on Jan. 11 but neither could miss that night from deep and they combined to go 66-for-84 from the free-throw line. Not sure I've ever heard of that in a college game. The Tommies have been held in the 70s in three of their past four away.
