Outside of a stunning second half collapse at Iowa State that I have to attribute to Hilton Magic, this is a BYU team that has been playing really solid basketball recently. The Cougars have gone 3-1 in their last four with wins against Kansas and TCU in that run, but now face a UCF team that gave it trouble in both meetings during the regular season. BYU’s first win, on the road, was a low-scoring five-point grinder and then they won a 90-88 high-possession shootout in Provo. I think asking BYU to cover this multi-possession number in their third meeting puts a little bit of value on the underdog, as the Knights enter with some confidence after the first round win.
