It’s a double-bubble game in the Prudential Center and I imagine the intensity will be peaking as CBS Sports Bracketologist Jerry Palm currently has both Seton Hall and Villanova in the “First Four Out” of his most recent bracket. Given the stakes I’m going to side with what I believe to be the more talented team that has also shown better recent form. Villanova has won five of its last six and six of its last eight, including a 26-point whomping of Seton Hall on Feb. 11. The Pirates, meanwhile, have been on the wrong end of a pair of beatdowns from Big East leaders UConn and Creighton and have seen their offense take a step back over the last month.
