This should be a great game. Michigan State is 8-2 straight up and against the spread their last 10 games. They are also 4-2 in conference after two conference losses the first week of December. Tom Izzo has done this for a long time and his strategy every years is to get his team to peak at the right time. They are headed in that direction and are very close. With revenge on their mind from a 70-57 loss in December at home to the Badgers. Wisconsin is 6-1 in January but just two of the wins were versus a winning team. Take Izzo's boys with a sprinkle on the money line.

The road team has won the last six meetings, excluding one neutral court game. Wisconsin won the first meeting this season in East Lansing in dominate fashion. The Spartans had a rocky start to the season but have really turned it on over their last 10 games. Wisconsin has been more consistent offensively than the Spartans during that span, but now they face a Michigan State team out for revenge playing on their momentum of their defense.

The story of this game is that Wisconsin handled Michigan State when they played on Dec. 5. So if you believe that is matchup-related then you like the Badgers, playing at home, against a Michigan State team that beats up on bad teams. But if you think Michigan State is a different team now than it’s time to consider Sparty with the revenge factor. Michigan State’s efficiency numbers since mid-December have been among the best in the country and I think there’s an experience factor with this group that will prove to be a pivotal foundation in the toughest late-season (and postseason) matchups.
