South Alabama has really found their groove in the Sun Belt tournament, after finishing in the middle of the pack for the regular season. The Jaguars have been shooting 41 percent from three in this tournament as compared to Louisiana’s 26.7 percent in their last three games. Louisiana won the last match-up at home by 10 points to end the regular season. The Ragin’ Cajuns shot the ball decent against Texas State but they won’t get easy shots against this South Alabama defense, especially from the perimeter. Isaiah Moore and Kevin Samuel have been playing great for the Jaguars and look to cap off a great conference tournament run with a title. I’m on South Alabama.

South Alabama coach Richie Riley has done an amazing job of molding the Jaguars to where they are now one win away from the NCAA Tournament. They shoot 47% on the season and get ULL away from its home edge (14-0) and on a neutral court. South Alabama has won and covered eight of its last nine. Take South Alabama to cover.

Louisiana hasn't made the NCAA Tournament since 2014 and South Alabama since 2008 so both teams should be predictably excited for tonight's Sun Belt Championship Game. The Ragin' Cajuns average 78.3 points per game and rank 39th nationally in scoring. Though their first two games of the Sun Belt Tournament have been lower scoring, I expect a back-and-forth game tonight with the winner scoring at least 75 points.
