Northwestern hasn't played in eight days to due COVID issues in the program so I guess that's moderately concerning, but I haven't read anyone is out tonight. The Badgers are sans starting guard Max Klesmit, who averages 6.8 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.6 steals and is one of the team's better three-point shooters. He's second on the team and fifth in the Big Ten with 27 steals. Not a huge deal obviously but also not ideal. If UW were at home, I'd probably not care but on the road now I will lean the Cats. Northwestern's 12-5 record is its best record through a season's first 17 games since starting the 2016-17 season 13-4. The Wildcats will be looking to defeat Wisconsin for the first time since 2018.

Wisconsin has beaten Northwestern seven straight times and tonight the Badgers are getting points in Evanston, Ill. Senior forward Tyler Wahl (12.9 ppg, 6.3 rpg) is the key for Wisconsin: with him on the floor, the Badgers are 12-2 with the losses coming by one point to Kansas and by three to Wake Forest. They lost three straight games when he was out with an ankle injury, then beat Penn State in his return last Tuesday. He got an extra two days to rest as this game was delayed due to COVID issue within the Wildcats' program. Take the points.
