Understanding Public and Money

Think of 'Public' as the percentage of people betting on each side and 'Money' as how much money is being bet. When there's a big difference between the 'Public' and 'Money' data, it usually means that the more serious bettors (referred to as 'Sharp Money') are favoring a particular side.

Micah's Analysis:

Texas A&M has won and covered its last seven games. It is building quite the NCAA Tournament resume, with wins over Arkansas, Auburn and Florida the last three days. And 11 days ago, the Aggies won at Alabama. It looks like they’re going to make the dance, regardless of today’s result. But they have something cooking. Texas A&M also is the fourth-best over team in the nation at 22-10-1, with six of the last eight going over. Over is the top bet here.

Larry's Analysis:

The relentless Aggies have won seven straight entering the SEC Tournament championship game, and I think they'll be very competitive against a Tennessee team that could have a bit of a letdown after beating Kentucky. Texas A&M goes 8-9 players deep, so fatigue shouldn't be a huge factor. Especially because the Aggies cruised to an 18-point win Saturday. Back the Aggies to cover their eighth straight.
