Colorado has won 2 of the last 3 in this series and knocked off the Wildcats at home by 16 on Feb. 26. That result wasn't some fluke, it's evidence of how these two teams match up. Colorado forward Jabari Walker leads the Pac-12 with 17 double-doubles and he's leads a frontcourt that can bang with Arizona's bigs down low. Arizona showed vulnerability against Stanford and now has injury concerns, so I'll take Colorado to keep the final margin to single digits.
At full strength, I like Arizona to reach the Final Four -- something it could never do under Sean Miller. Alas, the Cats will not be at full strength for this Pac-12 Tournament game. Guard Kerr Kriisa went down with a sprained ankle in Thursday's comeback win over Stanford. He hasn't been ruled out of this game as of this writing, but considering he left in a wheelchair, well, I think it's safe to say he's not playing. Kriisa leads the team in assists (4.9 apg) and three-pointers made (78) while averaging 10.1 ppg. He had a triple-double this season. Colorado is playing as well as anyone in the Pac-12 in winning eight of nine and smacked Arizona around Feb. 26 in Boulder. I'm not predicting a replay of that but certainly a cover is very doable with no Kriisa.
