Stanford has lost five straight (1-4 ATS), including its regular-season finale at Tempe when ASU beat the Cardinal 65-56. It’s been a long uphill battle for ASU coach Bobby Hurley, who lost nine players to the portal. It took a while to jell, but Hurley got his guys to play his way, and in the last month of the season the hard work was rewarded: ASU won and covered seven of its final eight. The Sun Devils have been playing great basketball. If they weren’t dealing with injuries in the beginning of the season, they would be a tournament team. They are 7-1 SU and 7-0-1 ATS in their last eight games, including a nine point win over the Cardinal. The Cardinal are 0-5 SU and 1-4 ATS in their last five games. They have looked terrible.
