The Salukis came oh-so close to beating Drake this season, losing by one and two points. They won four of their last five games and are dangerous in the MVC Tournament because of star Marcus Domask (15.0 ppg, 5.1 rpg, 3.9 apg) and the late-season emergence of 6-7 guard Ben Coupet.Jr. He is 18 of 34 from beyond the arc over the last seven games (and was a non-factor in the first matchup with Drake). The Bulldogs just lost senior guard D.J. Wilkins to a torn ACL. He's their best defender, averages 10.3 points and shoots 37.7 percent from deep. It's a huge blow and a big reason why I'm taking the points.
