The unbeaten Wolverines have won all of their games but one by double digits behind arguably the National Freshman of the Year in Hunter Dickinson (18.0 ppg, 8.1 rpg, 73 percent shooting). He has been named the Big Ten's Freshman of the Week five times in six weeks and the Badgers have no answer for the 7-foot-1 center. Few teams do. Wisconsin is always a good defensive club, but U-M is shooting 52.5 percent from the field, leading the Big Ten and ranking eighth nationally. The Wolverines also are shooting a Big Ten-best 77.8 percent from the free throw line.

This will be Michigan's toughest test to date, but the Wolverines tuned up with blowout wins over two ranked teams (Northwestern, Minnesota). They've improved their perimeter defense. That will be critical against a veteran Badgers team shooting 41.4 percent from deep, which ranks fourth nationally. Northwestern and Minnesota combined to shoot 9 of 31 from beyond the arc. Freshman Hunter Dickinson is shooting a ridiculous 73 percent from the field this season, and has averaged 24 points over his last three games. Back Michigan to cover its fifth straight.
