The Lions have not been such a big favorite in the 21st century. Their offense is middling, their defense a tad below average. For sure, Cleveland has a lousy road and post-bye ATS record, but Detroit tends to be spotted an excess of points at home, as its recent 1-5 ATS record attests. The Lions had dropped three in a row straight-up before picking on Green Bay and its denuded offense, minus Aaron Rodgers. Detroit’s O-line could be dominated by Cleveland’s defensive front, especially if two ailing regulars are unable to go.

The Browns are coming off a bye, while the Lions are on a short week in an obvious letdown spot. Cleveland also gets back No. 1 overall pick Myles Garrett from a concussion. Detroit has covered just one of its last six home games. Grab the points.
