DraftKings. I know this game is at Coors Field, but Blake Snell looked incredibly sharp in his first appearance back from the IL against the Royals. He’ll now face the Rockies, whom despite their advantage are only hitting .264 against southpaws at home since June 1st (when the weather turned). And this is a poor lineup they’re trotting out, with only two hitters having above a .250 xBA against lefties (and not Hunter Goodman). Snell won’t be on a long leash, and is a highly inefficient pitcher as is. There are a few 5.5 lines floating around at the time I’m posting this - pounce if you can. If not, partial unit on under 4.5 at +120 or better.
Blake Snell was extremely impressive in his return to action after a lengthy hiatus. Snell fanned 10 batters versus a stingy Royals lineup needing just 84 pitches to get through 6 innings. He will now face a Rockies lineup with a top 5 K Rate against opposing southpaws. Snell also has excellent career strikeout numbers against the Rockies projected lineup. I’m surprised this number isn’t 7.5 considering how well he pitched in his last outing and this also would qualify as a favorable matchup.
