Canada vs. South Africa trading preview

This is the first time making it out of the group stage for both Canada and South Africa. The Canadians are making their third World Cup appearance and are one of the host nations this year while South Africa are playing in their fourth World Cup, most recently making a group stage exit as hosts in 2010. Both teams also finished second in their respective groups, with South Africa placing second behind Mexico in Group A and Canada falling behind Switzerland in Group B.

Canada captain Alphonso Davies hasn't played yet at World Cup 2026 because of a hamstring injury, but he's fit and expected to play in this Round of 32 matchup. The Bayern Munich left back should add another explosive attackin threat to a Canadian squad that scored eight times during three group stage matches. Canada are favored on the 90-minute money line (excludes extra time and penalty shootout) at $0.60 per share while South Africa are $0.17 per share and a tie is $0.27 per share. Trade on the World Cup and more at Kalshi with the promo code SPORTSLINE15.
