Tuesday offers a full 15-game MLB schedule and a pair of WNBA games. National audiences looking for baseball action can enjoy the Toronto Blue Jays taking on the Chicago Cubs on TBS at 7:07 p.m. ET. On the hardwood, the Dallas Wings and Indiana Fever collide on ESPN at 7:30, and the New York Liberty visit the Los Angeles Sparks on NBA TV at 10.

Bettors looking to wager on Tuesday's games can do so with the latest FanDuel promo code, which gives users $300 in bonus bets if their qualifying first wager of $5 or more wins.

Best bets for Tuesday, August 12

The Chicago Cubs are 17 games over .500 at 67-50, but they're in second place in the NL Central because the Milwaukee Brewers (74-44) seemingly refuse to lose anymore. The Cubs will try to make up some of that ground when they open a three-game set with the Toronto Blue Jays (69-50) north of the border on Tuesday. Toronto has a 4.5-game in the AL East and sends Jose Berrios (8-4, 3.89 ERA) to the hill, while Chicago counters with Ben Brown (5-7. 6.04). One side of the spread is hitting in 71% of the SportsLine Projection Model's simulations.

The red-hot Brewers have won 10 straight games, but on Tuesday they'll have to deal with Pittsburgh Pirates phenom Paul Skenes (7-8, 1.94). The dominant Skenes leads all of baseball in ERA but the anemic Pittsburgh offense simply doesn't score enough runs to support him. Milwaukee will start its own ace in Freddy Peralta (13-5. 3.03). The Brewers are win in 64% of the model's simulations.

The Sparks have won seven of their last 10 games heading into Tuesday's contest, including a huge 94-91 win over the Seattle Storm who they are chasing for a playoff spot. The Liberty are trying to bounce back from a 83-71 loss to the Minnesota Lynx in their last game and remain without Breanna Stewart, who is targeting a return by the end of the month. WNBA expert Max Meyer has locked in a player prop as his best bet for this contest.
