Sports fans looking to wager on Tuesday's games can do so with the latest FanDuel promo code to get $150 in bonus bets after wagering $5 or more

ByUpdated: Aug 05, 2025 2:19PM UTC . 4 min read

There are 15 games on the MLB schedule for Tuesday, August 5, as the Miami Marlins try to start a new winning streak after losing to the Houston Astros on Monday, the New York Yankees try to snap their four-game skid when they visit the Texas Rangers and the San Diego Padres attempt to bounce back from a loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks. There are also five games in the WNBA, headlined by the Indiana Fever trying to win a sixth straight contest and the Chicago Sky looking to end an eight-game losing streak.

Those interested in MLB betting and WNBA betting can take advantage of the latest FanDuel promo code when wagering on Tuesday's games. FanDuel is giving out $150 in bonus bets if a user's first wager of $5 or more wins.

How to claim the FanDuel promo code

Here's how to sign up for the FanDuel offer. There's no code required, but you must be a new user of legal age in a state where FanDuel legitimately operates.

  1. Click "CLAIM BONUS" on this page. You will be taken to FanDuel.
  2. Create an account by entering all required information such as name, email and payment details.
  3. Make a minimum deposit of $5.
  4. Make a first bet of $5 or more. There's no minimum odds requirement.

If your bet wins, FanDuel will return your wager plus the winnings as well as $150 in bonus bets to be spent in any increment. Since there is no odds requirement for the qualifying wager, it's recommended to wager on a massive favorite in order to have the best chance at receiving bonus bets. Bonus bets cannot be cashed out or withdrawn, and they expire in seven days. If you win a wager using bonus funds, you'll get the winnings but not the stake.

Best bets for Tuesday, August 5

All good things must come to an end, and the Marlins saw their five-game winning streak end at the hands of the Astros Monday evening. Houston snapped its own three-game skid and will now look to take the series victory Tuesday. The Astros have not decided on a starting pitcher, while the Marlins will roll with Cal Quantrill (4-8, 4.79 ERA). Quantrill pitched five shutout innings in his last appearance against the Cardinals. The SportsLine Projection model is backing the Marlins as -105 underdogs (wager $105 to win $100) on the money line in the latest consensus odds. Miami wins in 56% of model simulations.

The Padres will send Yu Darvish (1-3, 6.46 ERA) to the bump Tuesday in an attempt to build on their three-game lead for the last wild card spot in the NL. Darvish has not been a star this season but is coming off his best outing against the Mets, when he pitched seven shutout innings and fanned seven. The Diamondbacks are going with Ryne Nelson (6-3, 3.20 ERA), who gave up four runs on six hits in 5 1/3 innings against the Tigers in his last start. The SportsLine model has a strong feeling about Arizona +1.5 on the run line, rating it as an "A" grade play. The Diamondbacks cover in 67% of simulations.

The Fever remain without star guard Caitlin Clark but have won five games in a row and now sit just 1.5 games back of the second-best record in the league. Indiana has been getting great contributions from Kelsey Mitchell (19.5 PPG) and Aliyah Boston (15.5 PPG, 8.3 RPG) to make up for Clark's absence. WNBA experts Calvin Wetzel and Aaron Barzilai have two bets locked in for Tuesday's Fever vs. Sparks contest, including a pick on the spread.
