Fanatics Sportsbook promo code for NFL, MLB, WNBA and more on August 21

New users can earn up to $1,000 in FanCash with the Fanatics Sportsbook promo code when betting on NFL, MLB and WNBA games on Thursday

ByUpdated: Aug 21, 2025 2:53PM UTC . 4 min read

Thursday is a good day to be a sports fan, as there are two NFL preseason contests, nine MLB games and four WNBA matchups on the schedule as well. In the NFL, the Carolina Panthers host the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the New England Patriots visit the New York Giants. Top MLB games include the Milwaukee Brewers at Chicago Cubs and San Francisco Giants at San Diego Padres. The WNBA schedule is highlighted by the Minnesota Lynx at Atlanta Dream and Phoenix Mercury at Las Vegas Aces.

If you want to bet on any of Thursday's NFL, MLB or WNBA games, you should check out the Fanatics Sportsbook promo code. This offer gives brand-new users up to $1,000 in FanCash across their first 10 days after signing up.

How to claim the Fanatics Sportsbook promo code

This offer is available only to new Fanatics users who are of legal age in a state where the sportsbook operates. Follow these steps to sign up and claim the Fanatics Sportsbook promo code:

  1. Click "CLAIM BONUS" on this page.
  2. Download the Fanatics Sportsbook app on your phone and make an account.
  3. Deposit at least $10 into your account.
  4. Opt into the No Sweat Bets promotion.
  5. Bet at least $1 at -500 or longer odds.

This offer gives users FanCash bonus bets if their first bet of the day loses. What makes this offer interesting is rather than just covering your very first bet, Fanatics covers your first bet of the day for each of your first 10 days after signing up. Each bet is covered for $100 each, so if any of those bets lose, you get FanCash bonus bets. The maximum return is $1,000 in FanCash, which only happens if you bet $100 as your first bet of the day across all 10 days and all of those bets lose. Users need to opt into this promotion every day in order to get bonus bets for losing wagers. The 10 days begins the day you sign up and not the day you make your first bet. Bonus bets expire after seven days and if you win a bet using bonus bets, you only get the winnings and not the stake

Best bets for Thursday, August 21

The third and final week of the NFL preseason begins Thursday with the Steelers at Panthers at 7 p.m. ET and the Patriots at Giants at 8 p.m. Pittsburgh has stayed away from many key veterans in the preseason, namely quarterback Aaron Rodgers, and that will remain the case on Thursday. That's also the case for Carolina, which won't play starter Bryce Young or his backup, Andy Dalton. As for Patriots-Giants, New York hasn't indicated which way it leans when it comes to playing starters and notable players. Regardless, first-round pick Jaxson Dart will very likely play quite a bit, as he's No. 3 on the depth chart behind Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston. The Patriots also haven't indicated whether starters like Drake Maye will suit up.

MLB has nine games on the docket, including a key American League East series between the Red Sox and Yankees in New York. Both teams hold Wild Card spots, and if a team wins three of four in this series, they likely will hold the top AL Wild Card spot. Lucas Giolito (8-2, 3.63 ERA) starts for Boston after pitching 6.1 innings of one-run ball against Miami in his last start, while New York will start Luis Gil (1-1, 5.14 ERA), last year's Rookie of the Year, who is making just his fourth start of 2025. The SportsLine Projection Model, which simulates every MLB game 10,000 times, sees this game going Over 8.5 total runs. That side of the total hits in 64.5% of model simulations at -105 odds.

The WNBA had just one game on Wednesday but has four on the schedule for Thursday, with five teams currently holding playoff spots in action. WNBA experts Calvin Wetzel and Aaron Barzilai have locked in their best bets for Thursday's WNBA slate, which includes backing a side of the spread for Lynx vs. Dream.
