The Brewers have been the best team in baseball for a few weeks now, and they now have the best record in MLB and have taken control of the National League Central. They've leapfrogged the Cubs for the NL Central lead and can secure a three-game sweep with a win on Wednesday. The series finale features a stellar pitching matchup with lefty Shota Imanaga (7-4, 3.12 ERA) starting for Chicago and Milwaukee turning to Freddy Peralta (12-4, 2.81 ERA). Imanaga is looking for a bounce-back start after allowing seven runs and 12 hits in his last start against the White Sox. Peralta gave up a run over five innings to the Marlins in his most recent outing.
