Best bets for Thursday at DraftKings
The Seahawks haven't had the easiest go of it after winning the Super Bowl, but Thursday offers a chance for Sam Darnold and the Seattle offense to potentially put up some notable numbers. The Denver defense will be without stars Patrick Surtain II and Talanoa Hufanga, and Riley Moss is questionable. That could open the door for Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Khalil Shakir to have big nights downfield. But the SportsLine Projection Model, which simulates every NFL game 10,000 times, isn't so sure -- it seems to expect a lower-scoring game with the Under hitting in just over 50% of the model's simulations.
After winning two straight World Series and mashing their way to yet another NL West title, the Los Angeles Dodgers are on the brink of elimination with the Milwaukee Brewers holding a 3-0 lead in the NLCS. Superstar slugger Shohei Ohtani has been heavily limited by injuries and Milwaukee's lineup has refused to be quieted. The Dodgers will send Tyler Glasnow to the hill to keep the season alive. The Brewers haven't officially named a starter yet, but Shane Drohan is reportedly going to get the ball with Dustin May following him out of the bullpen. Milwaukee covers in 71% of the model's simulations. Bet on the NFL, MLB and more at DraftKings to get $200 in bonuses and three months of NBA League Pass:
