Best bets for Wednesday at DraftKings
A pair of stars will make their debuts for their new teams on Wednesday when the Timberwolves visit the Heat. LaMelo Ball will play his first game for Minnesota and should form a fearsome tandem with star Anthony Edwards. For Miami, the game marks the start of the Giannis Antetokounmpo era in South Beach. The Greek Freak and Bam Adebayo should make the Heat one of the most fearsome defensive outfits in the NBA. The SportsLine Projection Model, which simulates every NBA game 10,000 times, has Miami winning 61% of the time.
The Lakers are now firmly Luka Doncic's team with LeBron James taking his talents to Phialdelphia. Doncic and Austin Reaves will lead the Lakers into battle against Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday. Curry will need to carry a heavy load out of the gate with Kristaps Porzingis and Brandin Podziemski out and Jimmy Butler still months away from returning from his ACL injury. The SportsLine model has the Under hitting at a 68% rate. Bet on the NBA and more at DraftKings for $200 in bonuses and 3 free months of NBA League Pass after spending $5+:
